Bod Petryal

Family Cycling

Bod Petryal is a small country park which sits just off the B5105 at the southern edge of the Clocaenog Forest. This pleasant cycling route is quite short (3.5km) and only involves 60m of height gain as it meanders through the forest. The relatively modest physical challenge makes it a perfect option for all family groups, even those with young children.

Approach:

There are plenty of parking spaces, plus toilet facilities at the starting point of the route by the small lake. There is also a delightful picnic area by the lake side.
