Mountain Biking

This excellent downhill and freeride centre is based in the dramatic setting of a disused slate quarry above Blaenau Ffestiniog. There are blue, red, black and double black trails sporting some superb big trail features. Expect flowing berms, big tabletops, rocky descents and double jumps and with something to suit all levels of abilities. The height difference between the top and bottom of the runs is 800 feet and typical run times are between two and a half minutes and three and a half minutes, depending on experience.
Uplift comes in the shape of a 16 seater mini-bus which does up to 15 runs per day. Online full day pre-booking is recommended, but is also possible to turn up on the day and access the uplift service if spaces are available. Single uplift and evening tickets can be purchased on the day, although you will need to pay in cash.
The dedicated visitor centre & cafe operates Thursday to Sunday all year round, including all bank holidays. The only exception is the Christmas period when the centre is closed.

Approach:

There is car parking on site.
